The door opens. So do possibilities.

Swing door control for people with reduced mobility

Touch-free entry, door leaf movement monitoring and opening in the evacuation direction on a fire alarm signal. The controller and software are developed by NanoPLC.

Comfort for every visitor

An entrance that helps

01

Effortless access

For wheelchair users, people using walking aids and visitors with pushchairs or luggage. The door opens away from the approaching person.

02

Monitoring on both sides

In normal operation, sensors monitor the movement zones and stop the door leaf before a person or obstacle.

03

Fire alarm connection

On an alarm signal, the door opens in the evacuation direction and stays open until the signal is cleared.

04

Mechanical return

Without power, the door opens manually and closes using a mechanical closer. A UPS can be added to maintain automatic operation.

05

Configured for your building

Angles, speed, hold-open time and detection zones are configured for the door assembly and entrance layout.

06

Diagnostics and maintenance

Detachable connections, modular construction and a service terminal for configuration and input status checks.

One controller · four scenarios

Operation for every situation

Day

Automatic passage

A sensor detects the approach side. The door opens away from the person, remains open for the set time and closes. A no-entry indicator lights up on the opposite side.

Night

Closed entrance

Activation and sensors are disabled. The mode is set by a switch or the lock status: the drive does not operate against a locked door.

Evacuation

Fire alarm priority

The door leaf opens in the evacuation direction and stays open until the alarm is cleared. The system then returns to normal operation.

Staff

Forced hold-open

A key switch opens and holds the door for moving goods, cleaning and maintenance. Returning the key restores automatic mode.

Passage safety

Protection and clear indicators

  • The leaf stops before an obstacle and resumes movement only after the zone is clear.
  • Sensors facing a wall or adjacent passage are automatically disabled as the door opens.
  • Speed and force are limited and configured for the leaf weight and balance.
  • Safety glazing in the door leaf and a local power switch for maintenance.

System components and installation

The MGB 93.24 drive, PLC controller and peripherals work as one system. The drive is installed above the opening in an enclosed housing, without external arms.

Single or double leaf configuration

Left and right configurations depend on the hinge position. Double leaf doors use two synchronised drives. Door leaf wiring runs concealed through the pivot axis.

Before starting your project

Frequently asked questions

What happens during a power outage?

A mechanical closer returns the leaf, and the door works as a conventional door. A UPS can be added to retain automatic operation during brief outages.

Can the door connect to fire alarms and access control?

The fire alarm signal is received as a dry contact. Access control integration and status outputs for building monitoring are optional.

Does the solution support double leaf doors?

Yes. Two synchronised drives operate under a shared control algorithm.

Who configures and maintains the system?

Configuration uses a service terminal. NanoPLC provides maintenance procedures, staff training and technical support.

Can the operating logic be adapted to our building?

The controller and software are developed by NanoPLC. Algorithms can be adapted to your building without replacing the equipment.
